es erinnerte mich auf den ersten Blick an Mimbo, da die Menüführung ähnlich ist (dennoch gut und übersichtlich). Auch dass Du es “herschenkst” war natürlich auch schon vorher der Fall…

Klasse gemacht, ich habe eine Vorliebe für flexible Themes. Schön wäre, wenn sich einige für dieses Theme entscheiden. Ich finde es sehr schade, dass es so viele fixe Themes gibt.

Ausprobiert habe ich es natürlich schon, aber ein paar Kleinigkeiten müsste ich noch für mich anpassen. Aber auch so “out of the Box” ist es ein sehr gelungenes Theme.

Ich mag ja aus Prinzip valide Themes

Ich biete das Theme nun bei mir zur Auswahl an. Zumindest das, was daraus geworden ist, nachdem ich ein wenig am Code “geschraubt” habe. Ich hoffe, Du bist mir nicht allzu böse wenn Du das Ergebnis siehst.

In der Sidebar ist ein Theme-Switcher. Da kannst Du Dein Theme auswählen und meine Version davon sehen.

Hast Du mal versucht in einem Beitrag mehrere Bilder, in der Ausrichtung links und rechts einzufügen? Dabei funktioniert der .float right nicht. Alle Bilder werden linksbündig angezeigt. Zwar wunderbar vom Text umflossen. Aber allerdings nur linksbündig. Es funktioniert nur dann, wenn man in der style.css den ersten Befehl im Bereich /*–images and other–*/ auskommentiert. Dann allerdings fehlt der rahmen um die Bilder. Ich habe schon den ganzen Nachmittag versucht dem Problem auf die Schliche zu kommen, aber ich bin noch nicht dahinter gekommen. Das Problem tritt nicht nur in meiner Interpretation auf, sondern auch im originalen Theme. Vielleicht hast Du ja eine Idee wie man das Problem abstellen kann.

Ist ja nicht schlimm, dazu sind ja Feedbacks da. Werde mal den geänderten Code ausprobieren.

Ich kann übrigens Bilder auch nur deswegen einfügen, weil ich den “No Flash Uploder” nutze. Denn auch bei mir versagt der neue FlashUploader in Wordpress.

Das Problem, dass nur der “No Flash Uploder” funktioniert, könnte am Browser liegen. Mit Firefox 3 hatte ich das Problem auch schon in nicht-Wordpress-Seiten.

Bei mir dürfte es an der Flash-Erkennung durch Wp liegen. Denn es geht mit allen Browsern nicht. Muss mal demnächst mal Konqueror ausprobieren, der nutzt Gnash als Flash-AnzeigeplugIn

Ich hätte einen kleine Wunsch, könntest Du vielleicht noch die Bloginfo in den Header einbauen. Ich habe es schon mal versucht, aber anscheinend reichen meine .php Kenntnisse dafür doch noch nicht aus…jedenfalls gelingt es mir nicht.

Ich frage nur, weil ich doch, wie Du weißt, ein etwas modifiziertes Theme verwende. Im Prinzip betreffen die Änderungen bei mir nur die .css Dateien, da dürfte sich doch eigentlich nicht viel geändert haben.

Aha, dann warte ich mal auf die neue Wp-Version um dann zu sehen, wie sich meine Änderungen auswirken.

habe heute auf der Suche nach einem neuen Theme, deine Seite entdeckt. Wollte mir eigentlich erst selber ein Theme zusammenbasteln (was ich auch irgendwann tun werde) aber vorerst finde ich dein mts Journey für mich einfach Klasse. Hab es auch sogleich umgesetzt auf meiner Seite.
Leider sind zwei Probleme, an denen ich nun schon eine ganze Weile grübele:
Zum einen erscheint die rechte Seite im IE verschoben und ich hab bisher noch nicht herausgefunden warum.
Zum anderen habe ich einige Probleme mit myGallery. Diese wird zwar richtig angezeigt, aber der vorwärts/rückwärts Button erscheint mal über und mal unter den Bildern. An den Einstellungen bei myGallery kann es nicht liegen, da es mit einem anderen Theme klappt.
Weißt du vielleicht Rat?

Ansonsten find ich es klasse.

Jetzt habe ich bei mir das schöne Theme bei HDS home (http://www.hds-hamburg.de/wp/wordpress )installiert und angepasst (footer, header).
Entspricht schon fast perfekt meinen Vorstellungen.
Nur die Listen-Images “” stehen in den Seitenleisten leider innerhalb der widgets an Stellen, wohin sie eigentlich nicht gehören sollten.
Wie ich die beseitigen kann, fällt mir absolut nicht ein.
Hat vielleicht einer der werten Mitleser einen Tipp für mich?

Gefällt mir echt gut! Leider füktioniert es beim Internetexplorer nicht. Firefox ist ok. Woran könnte das liegen?

I am currently using your mts-journey theme. I am looking for a way to erase the text that appears in the header.

I designed my own header and currently have it at the top of the page. But I can’t find anywhere that offers a good solution on how to delete the text (which is just the name of the blog).

Any chance you can help?

First – I’ve been looking for a theme like this for over a year, so a thousand thank you’s for creating such a beautiful theme!

I’ve made quite a few changes to the CSS and only have a few more to go, but for the life of me, I can’t figure out how accomplish my goals.

1. I’d like to move the contents within the right sidebar to the right a little bit (approximately 15-20 px), without actually moving the sidebar itself.

2. I’d like to decrease the width of the center column (where the posts are) by approximately 20-25 px on each side in order to increase the ‘white space’ between the center columns and side bars.

3. I’d like the center column moved down by 1 px so the top border lines up with the top border of the side bars.

Changing width has never been my strong suit and I saw your warning about the CSS being a bit touchy, so I didn’t want to attempt these changes without asking for help.

As for lowering the center column, I’ve tried adjusting the top margin for every bit of code that I thought was related to it, using Firebug to guide me, but no success.

Can you assist?

Hi Monika It’s me again I found something else I’d like to tweak in the CSS, but this is my 4th intall of the blog (plugins keep corrupting the database), and I’m getting a little overwhelmed with code changes.

I’m hoping you can provide me with the code I need to make this change:

On the comments page, I’d like to remove the indent from the comments. Currently, the comments are indented to right from the comments list box approximately 35px.

The idea is to have the () align to the same left position as the (). In other words, I’d like the left margin for the (<li id=”comment”) to be the same as it is for the left margin for the ().

BUT, I don’t want to change the ul, ol, and il styling throughout the theme – only for comments.

I hope I explained that in a way that makes sense!

dein Template mts Journey habe ich installiert und bin beim “füllen”. Das Template ist wirklich super.

Leider finde ich nicht die Möglichkeint den Text von About zu ändern.

Die .css habe ich alle durchsucht. Es ist mein erster Versuch mit Wordpress. Für Hilfe wäre ich dankbar.

I’m having trouble including some additional content appear in the theme’s sidebar. I’ve added a new table to the db, which contains embed video code. Each record has a yes/no flag which is used to determine which video will be displayed on the sidebar.

The result is nothing is displayed. If I include all of the code (see below) in the video.php include page, the entire page fills with red and the right hand sidebar fails to appear.

Is what I’m attempting to do possible with this theme? Or do I need to copy and adapt the bookmark-template.php + bookmark.php files?

ich habe im mts Journey in de_DE.po ein paar Texte geändert. Was muss ich tun, damit die geänderten deutschen Texte wirksam, d.h. angezeigt werden?
Muss ich auch die de_DE.mo ändern?
Trotz o.g. Änderung werden bei mir noch die ursprünglichen deutschen Texte angezeigt.

I am having trouble with the image alignment using the journey theme.

All of my images align to the left no matter what I have them set to. I have searched all over but cannot seem to find out the issue.

I have tried it with other themes and it works fine.

Hello, has anybody figured the IE6 red links issue yet?
I had the chance to recently test under IE6 and IE7 and I found out that in addition to the red links, the left column disappears when navigating to the Categories or Archives. No issues found with IE7 though.
